A spirits brand's bottle is its most permanent asset — the object a consumer holds, displays, and associates with the product long after the liquid is gone. At HUIHE, we manufacture custom spirits glass bottles for brands that require a bottle no other label uses: proprietary shapes developed from your brief, in your chosen glass color, carrying your surface decoration.
With nearly 20 years of glass manufacturing experience, we support the full scope of a custom packaging project — from initial concept development and 3D rendering through to sampling mold production, glass sample approval, and volume manufacturing. Clients range from first-batch craft distilleries to established spirits labels managing multi-SKU packaging programs.
All production runs on IS (Individual Section) machines under ISO 9001-certified conditions. Compliance documentation — including EU Declaration of Compliance (Regulation 1935/2004), FDA GMP records, and REACH SVHC declarations — is available to support your regulatory requirements.

What Can Be Customized
Each dimension of your bottle can be specified independently or designed as an integrated system. Below are the four axes of customization we support.
Bottle Shape & Mold
Proprietary bottle geometry developed from your CAD file, sketch, or reference brief. We handle 3D modeling, mold engineering, and 3D prototype confirmation before any glass tooling is produced.
Glass Color
Standard options include clear, dark amber, antique green, and dead-leaf. Frosted and custom-tinted glass is available. Color consistency is controlled across production runs to maintain visual coherence at shelf.
Capacity & Dimensions
Standard TTB/EU capacities (50 mL to 1.75 L) and fully custom volumetric specifications. Neck finish type (BPF, GPI, ROPP), base footprint, shoulder angle, and glass weight are all specifiable.
Surface Decoration
ACL ceramic screen printing, chemical etching, hot stamping, embossing, frosted coating, and color coating. Single-technique and multi-technique combination finishes are both available.
Many colors available, cost effective, easy to operate, long lasting effect. Including enamel screen printing, precious metals screen printing, organic screen printing, etc. Can achieve embossing effect easily with the printed pattern.
Silk Screen Printing
Single color screen printing
Dual color screen printing
Multi color screen printing
Hot Stamping
Hot stamping or foil printing is one of the most cost-effective decoration techniques for branding or customizing a packaging component. Hot stamping is a printing method which consists in transferring a metal foil on the surface of the object thanks to a cliché and the action of heat. The stamp thus obtained can be golden, silver and other colors available to the customer. but for glass bottle, you can not stamping on glass bottle directly, you need printing stamping base ink by screen printing at first, then stamping onto the ink will be get the stamping result.

Decal
Good for irregularly-shaped bottle decoration, uneven and limited surface area. Lots of colors available, intricate details presentation. One of the best methods to present your logo and design pattern onto the glass bottle. Great combination effect with acid etching, color coating and metallization etc.

Frosting
Through an acid etching process, the outer layers of the glass bottles is removed, giving the bottle an opaque, frosted appearance. The texture can be more or less rough, depending on the grade used. Sandblasting reserves can be created, enabling patterns and insets to appear in specific areas of the bottle.

Carving
A sculptured, deeply sandblasted technique of etching, carving glass adds a large degree of texture, dimension and detail to a design. This can be a standardised finish, a special finish or even a finish that is personalised with peripheral debossing .

Label
Labelling gives your glass packaging an unmistakable and visually appealing design in a very efficient way. Oval, rectangular and round custom labels can be custom printed with your unique logo, artwork or design. In the labelling process, we attach self-adhesive labels to untreated glass or to a previously coated surface.

Electroplate
It gives the bottle an upmarket decoration with authentic metallic shining effect. The bottle can be fully or partly metallized according to client’s specific requirement. Typically gold or bright chrome color, but other colors also available. Eco-friendly process. Permanent effect can last for years.

Who We Work With
Our Clients
Custom spirits glass clients come to us at different stages and with different requirements. What they share is a need for a bottle that belongs to them alone.
- Craft and independent distilleries producing first proprietary bottle runs
- Established spirits labels updating or extending packaging across a SKU range - Importers and distributors developing private label or co-branded bottle formats - Spirits brands entering new markets requiring region-specific capacity formats - Brand owners creating limited edition and collector packaging programs - Hospitality groups specifying custom bottles for proprietary house spirits
FAQs
Do I need to supply a finished CAD file to begin the customization process?
No. While a completed CAD file accelerates the design phase, we regularly work with clients who begin with a sketch, a written concept, a reference bottle they want to adapt, or simply a direction. Our team produces the 3D model from your starting point. Providing as much dimensional or visual reference as you have available at the outset does help compress the early stages of the process.
What is the difference between a sampling mold and a production mold, and do I need both?
A sampling mold is a single-cavity tool used to produce the first real glass prototypes of your bottle — the closest physical representation of the final design. Production molds are multi-cavity tools built for volume output and have a different cost structure. Most custom projects start with a sampling mold to allow shape and quality review before production tooling is committed. In some cases, where a shape is already proven from prior production, sampling molds can be skipped — we advise on this during the project scoping phase.
Can multiple surface decoration techniques be combined on a single bottle?
Yes. Multi-technique finishes are common in premium and prestige spirits packaging — for example, ACL ceramic printing combined with partial chemical etching and a hot-stamped logo band. Technical feasibility depends on the specific combination of techniques, the bottle geometry, and the surface areas involved. We advise on sequencing and compatibility during the design phase, before any production commitment is made.
How much lead time should I plan for between placing an order and first market delivery?
For custom mold projects, plan for a minimum of 10–12 weeks from brief submission to first production delivery under normal scheduling conditions. This covers design development, 3D prototype review, sampling mold production, glass sample approval, and mass production. Compressed timelines are sometimes achievable depending on line availability — production can begin as soon as 10 days from order confirmation in some cases. For any launch tied to a specific trade date or market window, we recommend sharing your target delivery date at the outset so we can advise on scheduling feasibility.
